GUT HERMANNSBERG

Gut Hermannsberg wines come from some of the very best vineyard sites in Germany: Schlossböckelheimer Kupfergrube, the monopole Niederhäuser Hermannsberg, and the Traiser Bastei. All of Gut Hermannsberg’s vineyards are rated as ‘Grosse Lage’, or first-growth, and the uniquely mineral-rich and precisely-made wines expertly combine an attractive, modern style with a scrupulous respect for tradition.

Wines from the Winklerberg have been highly esteemed for their quality since the site was first cultivated in the 19th Century, but nearly 140 years of soil improvement that have been made to the porous, stony, mineral-rich volcanic soil now yield award-winning wines.
