Pfeffingen ‘Pfeffo’ Riesling ‘Feinherb’ VDP.Gutswein

Pfeffo, a legendary Roman, founded the village of Pfeffingen here in Pfalz region. In his memory the Pfeffingen estate created this medium dry Riesling. Tasting of white peaches, with hints of terroir, with a clean, bright flavour, it’s an ideal wine to go with food.

Feinherb is a German word that means ‘off dry’ and this wine has a slightly higher residual natural sugar level which partners wonderfully with all these foods. Shellfish with light creamy sauces, or even mild spices, will show this wine at its best.
