Pfeffingen Estate Riesling Dry VDP.Gutswein

Notes of apricot, peach and a touch of yellow apple unfold on the nose, while juicy flavours and a racy minerality lend the wine a lovely and unexpected elegance.

This charming, fruit-forward Riesling is grown in the finest vineyards of Weingut Pfeffingen’s picturesque estate in the Mittelhaardt section of the Palatinate region.

Selected, high quality grapes form the foundation for our simple yet refreshing Riesling. Eco-friendly viticulture, restricted yields, selective hand harvest, and temperature-controlled fermentation are all employed to ensure that this wine shows all the elements of a top quality product.

Alcohol 12.0 %
Residual Sugar 7.2 g/l
Total Acidity 7.8 g/l
Serving Temperature 10-12 °C (50-54 °F)

This classic example of the versatility of the Riesling grape can be enjoyed with pork, veal, poultry, pâté, fish and shellfish, as well as mild or aromatic cheeses.

Its fruit driven balance and acidity also makes it the perfect wine for Asian or Middle Eastern cuisine – and it marries wonderfully with the simple sausage (when in Germany, try with Bockwurst, Brötchen and Senf – magic!).
