Weingut Würtzberg Blanc de Noir

The grapes for this Pinot Noir wine were harvested in the estate’s Serriger Würtzberg vineyard. This vineyard is the oldest site planted in the Saar valley and has a perfect southern exposure on really steep slopes of red slate.

Pressed from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, harvested when perfectly ripe and fermented spontaneously in stainless steel tanks.

This Blanc de Noir shows a light orange and salmon colour in the glass, whilst the nose is dominated by fresh cherry flavours. These cherry flavours continue on the palate, combined with a hint of fresh herbs.

The wine finishes smoothly and creamily with a refreshing minerality.
